About the position

In the role of Data Engineer for medical data extraction, you will work on extracting information from Region Stockholm's medical record system, TakeCare. Your tasks will include, among other things:

• receiving and analyzing requirements specifications from researchers
• developing and testing SQL code for data extraction
• delivering data to research clients
• further developing and maintaining tools used for data extraction, such as masking tools
• reviewing SQL code and supporting the team with technical questions
• ensuring that deliveries comply with current regulations and documentation requirements

You will work closely with both IT colleagues and business specialists, and have great opportunities to develop in your role.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• relevant academic education equivalent to a university degree in engineering, systems science, or equivalent experience.
• Data Engineer with one to several years of experience
• at least one year of experience developing in SQL
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Merits:

• experience in .NET development
• experience with database development in Microsoft SQL Server
• experience with Microsoft SSIS
• experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning
• knowledge and experience of surrounding technical infrastructure (server, storage, network) and security.

About the recruitment process
