I am a 48-year-old woman living in central Stockholm. There is always a lot of activity around me, and I am rarely still, even though I use a manual wheelchair that you, as my assistant, will help me operate. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment, although I also enjoy taking it easy from time to time. Those close to me often describe me as loving, caring, and a positive girl who loves to joke around and spread joy. I can communicate verbally on my own and have many interests, including spending time with family and friends.

I have severe visual impairment, but I am not blind. Due to my poor eyesight, I have difficulty orienting myself independently, so it is important that you can navigate using GPS to get us to our destination. I appreciate it when you see solutions rather than obstacles when the situation calls for it. I expect you to follow my instructions and thereby help me in my daily life. This may, for example, involve helping me with some administrative tasks.

I am looking for you, a woman (approx. 20–45 years old), who has energy and, like me, enjoys when things are happening. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Basic computer skills are a plus. Due to the nature of the work, only female applicants are considered for this position.

This is a part-time position suitable for someone who, for example, is studying or has other commitments. You can largely influence your own schedule. We create the schedule together so that it works well for both me as the user of assistance and for you as the assistant.

No previous experience in the assistance profession is required, as this position is primarily service-oriented, since I do not need medical help or other types of care. You must be willing to learn, for example, how to operate a wheelchair in public transport, as this is of great importance in my daily life. It is important to me that you learn how I function in different situations so that you can provide the support I need. Chemistry between us is crucial for our collaboration to work well. You don't need to be a saint, but I appreciate that you are stress-resistant and willing to step up if the situation requires it. Being perceptive and able to take instructions is very important.

As an assistant, you simply accompany me in my active daily life, whatever I do. I travel both within and outside Sweden occasionally, but this is planned in advance. I am also looking for someone who can work this summer.

I have 24/7 assistance with sleeping on-call duty. Start date by agreement.

Only fully vaccinated (at least two doses) are eligible for an interview.
