About the role

Are you passionate about Water & Wastewater and want to help design sustainable water and wastewater solutions for both urban and rural areas? Ramboll Water is looking for an engaged Water and Wastewater Engineer (VA Engineer) to join our Water Infrastructure North unit. Here, you will work in an experienced and cohesive team on local and national assignments — with the option to choose your base office in Falun, Uppsala, Luleå, or Umeå.

What you will do

As a Water and Wastewater Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing water and wastewater piping networks and associated facilities such as pumping stations, manholes, culverts, and valves for municipalities, municipal water companies, property owners, and other clients.
• Designing and dimensioning external water and wastewater systems on private property, including stormwater treatment facilities for purification, retention, and storage.
• Hydraulic dimensioning and water/wastewater engineering in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, from preliminary studies and pre-design to system documentation and as-built drawings.
• Preparing complete tender documentation according to AMA-Anläggning standards.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree or Higher Vocational Education (YH) in construction/land/water/environment or a corresponding technical high school diploma, combined with relevant experience.
• Has previous experience in water and wastewater engineering (a few years of experience is preferred, but not required).
• Has good knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D / AutoCAD Civil 3D (not a requirement).
• Is fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Is unpretentious, positive, meticulous, responsible, and curious — we highly value personal qualities and engagement.
