Do you want to work with people and machines in an environment where the goal is to develop and improve the availability of our facilities? Do you enjoy analyzing and challenging preventive maintenance to develop work processes and maintenance methodologies? Do you want to contribute your engagement and knowledge to achieve world-class maintenance? Then this might be the job for you! Location: Borlänge.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will remain so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries with the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free steel production process and committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be vital in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

The most important task of Close-to-Production Maintenance is to ensure stable operation of our production lines. As a Maintenance Engineer in the Hot Rolling and Shaping department, you will play a key role in developing maintenance together with your colleagues. Training others and developing our maintenance systems is a natural part of your work. By working fact-based and goal-driven, you direct your efforts where they are needed most.

You work daytime, on-site in Borlänge, and will have many contact points both internally and externally.

We have continuous recruitment, so do not wait with your application.
