Snow Groomer Wanted at Fjätervålen
Fjätervålen AktiebolagDalarnas län, Älvdalen
Previous experience is desired
At Fjätervålen, we are known for our well-prepared slopes. Quality, both on the slopes and in the cross-country tracks, is of utmost importance. In some runs, we produce snow, but in most, we utilize snow fences to capture natural snowfall.
We have 18 downhill runs of varying difficulty levels, as well as a funpark and a cross-country technique park. We also groom 25 km (5 miles) of cross-country tracks in the cabin area and up on the mountain. As a snow groomer, you will work closely with the responsible foreman and daily operational staff to create the best possible experience for our guests.
We are looking for someone with several years of experience, accustomed to working independently and in all weather conditions on the mountain. A valid snow groomer license is required.
At our facility, hospitality, solution-focus, and flexibility are at the center of everything we do. We are passionate about skiing and creating the best possible experience for both guests and staff. We are a small team of approximately 30 employees during the winter season, working closely together, across departmental boundaries, with short decision-making paths.
Fjätervålen is located at 1002 meters above sea level and is a ski resort in northern Dalarna, approximately 20 km northeast of Idre. The resort is privately owned. The slopes are FIS-certified for both Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom (SL) international competitions. There are four lifts, eighteen downhill runs, and a cabin village with approximately 280 cabins. The longest run is 3 km long with a vertical drop of 317 meters. The resort also features 25 km of beautiful cross-country tracks, a ski shop/rental, a guesthouse, a convenience store, cabin rental agency, and a ski school.
We hope you want to join us on our exciting development journey over the coming years. Our ambition is to become a climate-smart mountain destination offering authentic mountain experiences with sustainability in focus. Future plans include a chairlift, hotel operations, cabins, apartments, a summit lodge, mountain bike trails, and more. Construction is scheduled to start in the summer of 2027.
We offer the opportunity to rent staff accommodation within walking distance to the workplace, as well as access to staff benefits for both you and your family.
Recruitment is ongoing throughout the summer.
We look forward to receiving your application!
