We are looking for a Contract Management Specialist within Railway and Measurement Technology for Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consultancy assignment. The workplace is located in Borlänge.

The position is at 20% capacity.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

The assignment concerns contract monitoring in the project "Rail and Switch Processing". Delivery monitoring is carried out at the facility in connection with the processing of rails and switches. The contracts are national and cover all of Sweden. The role involves construction management and delivery monitoring, as well as assisting project management with expertise in several areas to ensure the client's responsibility and requirement monitoring of the construction contract. The consultant must maintain an independent position relative to the contractor, and the assignment is carried out according to a specific assignment description and delivery list dated 2026-06-01.

Responsibilities

• Perform control of delivery fulfillment against contracted commitments.
• Compile and update reported documents.
• Analyze and report on written monitoring.
• Monitor the contractor's reporting of self-control measures.
• Conduct site visits during ongoing production.
• Investigate technical issues and propose solutions.
• Perform construction management in the rail and switch processing project.
• Perform delivery monitoring in the rail and switch processing project.
• Assist other districts as needed within the framework of the specified workload.
• Assist project management with expertise in several competency areas.
• Ensure the client's responsibility.
• Monitor requirements in the construction contract.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• At least 3 years of work experience (as a construction manager or in a supervisory role such as production manager, foreman, site manager, construction site monitor, or equivalent) within the railway sector. The experience must not be older than 10 years.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and prescriptions within the relevant area.
• At least 3 years of work experience (as a construction manager or in a supervisory role such as production manager, foreman, site manager, construction site monitor, or equivalent) within railway technology. The experience must not be older than 10 years.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and prescriptions within the relevant area.
• At least 3 years of work experience (as a construction manager or in a supervisory role such as production manager, foreman, site manager, construction site monitor, or equivalent) within the specific technical field. The experience must not be older than 10 years.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and prescriptions within the relevant area.
• Documented railway technology education.
• At least 2 years of experience in monitoring rail processing (visual).
• At least 2 years of experience in construction management of rail processing.
• At least 2 years of experience in measurement, analysis, and evaluation using the Miniprof measuring instrument for evaluating results from rail processing.
• Qualification as a supervisor (BAS ÄSKYDD) for work in track areas.
