We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for exciting renovations and new construction. At Kopparstaden, you lead your own projects from start to finish – but you never do it alone. About the role:

As a Construction Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for your projects, from preliminary studies to handover. You primarily lead renovations, but new construction may also occur. In this role, you contribute to developing our current housing stock and shaping the housing of the future.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all steps in design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Responsible for the project's economy, quality, schedule, and communication.
• Drive the design work and prepare request for proposals (RFP) documents and contract documents.
• Conduct procurements in close cooperation with our purchasing department.
• Ensure that your projects follow Kopparstaden's construction process.

Organizationally, you belong to our Construction and Development Department. We are fourteen employees with different specialist areas. We usually work in teams, and there is always close access to help and support from colleagues. Since there is very broad competence on the department, you are never alone, even though the job is independent. You report to the Department Manager.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a civil or building engineer, or have other equivalent documented competence.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in construction project management.
• Know all parts of the construction process and have experience in project economics, project management, and design management.
• Have good knowledge of contract law.
• Have good knowledge of the Office package.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.

Since you will have several projects running simultaneously, you are a good organizer who works in a structured, methodical, and systematic way. Good to know:

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a monthly salary. A Category B driver's license is required.
