Do you want to help develop the future buildings and community environments in Gagnefs Municipality? We are currently in an intensive phase with many construction projects to manage, and we are therefore looking for an engaged Construction Project Manager who wants to drive some of them with a focus on quality, sustainability, and long-term perspective.

The Technical Department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's building stock – from schools, preschools, and elderly care facilities to leisure facilities and housing within the municipally owned housing company, Gagnefsbostäder AB. Here, you will have an important role in creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and operations.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for:

• planning, leading, and coordinating both small and large construction projects throughout the entire process – from design to implementation, final inspection, and handover to the property management.
• driving the projects forward with responsibility for schedules, working environment, and project implementation, while ensuring that the work is carried out according to current legal requirements, agreements, and the needs of the operations.
• preparing and working with tender documents, coordinating contractors, consultants, and internal resources, and leading construction and project meetings during the projects.
• monitoring project budgets and results, handling ongoing reconciliations, and contributing to creating sustainable and long-term solutions for the municipality's buildings.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we believe you are someone who takes responsibility, works in a structured manner, and drives your work forward independently. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in dialogue with contractors, operations, and colleagues.

Since many projects are carried out in operations that are in use, you need to be receptive, solution-oriented, and have a service-minded approach. You are good at building trust, keeping processes together, and handling several projects in parallel.

We are looking for you who have a university degree in building technology or other relevant education, as well as several years of experience from the construction and property industry. You have at least three years of experience in construction project management and good knowledge of building technology, project management, and project economics. Furthermore, you have knowledge of building legislation and regulations, such as PBL, BBR, as well as contract law according to AB and ABT. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have experience from public or politically governed operations. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

It is an advantage if you have education in BAS-P/BAS-U, experience in construction production management, and knowledge of public procurement according to LOU.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment from 2026-08-15 to 2027-12-31. Interviews may take place continuously during the advertising period.
