Do you want to create safety and support for women with complex needs?

Just outside Uppsala, in a nature-friendly environment, we are now opening our group home for women.

We are looking for housing support workers for our group home for women within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The work is meaningful and places high demands on professionalism, empathy, and structure.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in daily life based on individual implementation plans.
• Create a safe and respectful environment with a focus on women's specific needs.
• Handle challenging situations with calm and professionalism.
• Document according to current routines.

The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as sleeping on-call duties according to the schedule.

About You

For this position, you are required to have relevant education, such as the Care and Nursing Program or a Higher Education Diploma (YH) in social pedagogy, psychiatry, or similar. You must have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as hold a B driving license. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in psychiatry or neuropsychiatry, training in CBT, or knowledge of trauma and trauma-informed care. If you have experience working with women with complex issues, such as NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), mental illness, or substance abuse, we also view this as a plus.

We are looking for you who have personal maturity and the ability to handle stress and conflict situations. You have physical and mental endurance as the work can sometimes be demanding. As a person, you are respectful and have a professional approach. Furthermore, you have the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Working Hours: For this position, you must be flexible and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
