We are now looking for an engaged Benefit Assessor for the Individual and Family Care department. Here, you will become part of a business where collaboration, development, and quality are in focus. You will work closely with colleagues within the social services and other partners to create good conditions for the municipality's residents.

Here, you will have the opportunity to help develop working methods and contribute to a legally secure and professional authority practice with the individual's needs at the center.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Benefit Assessor, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act of Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS). You work with the individual's needs in focus and ensure that the right support and measures are provided based on current conditions.

The work involves processing cases within SoL and LSS, contacting users, relatives, and other professions where collaboration is an important part of the assignment. You follow up on decided measures and document according to current guidelines and legal requirements.

You are given the opportunity to plan and structure your own work, which requires you to be responsible, flexible, and have good prioritization skills.

Requirements

• Social work degree or other relevant higher education
• Experience with authority practice within social services is meritorious
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Good computer skills and experience working in digital business systems

Meritorious

• Experience with case processing according to SoL and LSS
• Experience working within Individual and Family Care
• Experience with the business system Lifecare
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and authority practice
• Experience collaborating with other authorities and actors
