About your role
As a Sales Manager at Ahlens, you are responsible for driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. By coaching and developing our sales associates to become a little better every day, you ensure that every customer visiting Ahlens is met by staff who know their products and provide world-class service. Together with the Store Manager, your mission is to increase sales by leading and developing the Sales team in customer interactions. As a Sales Manager, you are a key role model and one of the central figures in the daily operational management of the store.
In the role of Sales Manager, you will:
- Drive sales through active customer contact in accordance with Ahlens' service concept
- Actively work on upselling and campaigns
- Contribute to an inspiring and well-stocked sales environment
- Operationalize and develop the store in consultation with the management team
- Lead and distribute tasks in daily work
- Coach colleagues in customer interactions and sales in accordance with Ahlens' Service Concept
- Communicate and share relevant information within your area of responsibility
- Serve as a role model and lead by example in daily work.
Your team
You will become part of a passionate team and collaborate with the Store Manager, Sales Associates, and Visual Merchandiser. You are part of the store's leadership team, and when the Store Manager is not present, you are ultimately responsible for the store.

What you bring to us:
- Several years of experience in sales and customer service within retail
- Experience in leading and coaching others in sales and customer interactions
- Experience working with goals and a focus on key performance indicators
The role of Sales Manager involves a high degree of independent work, and we place great emphasis on your leadership skills and personal maturity. You are business-minded and service-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize in a busy daily life. You have good collaboration skills and inspire others through clear communication and energetic drive. You are passionate about developing both people and the business, and you are motivated by seeing concrete results from your work.
About the recruitment
This is a permanent position for 30 hours/week, and working hours may vary between 08:00 and 19:00. We would prefer that you start with us on August 4th, as the store is planned to open at the end of August.
