About the Role

Are you looking for a flexible on-call employment with the opportunity to work year-round, day or night?

We are now looking for committed and responsible order guardians (security guards) for assignments in northern Bohuslän, with a special focus on Strömstad. Our work area stretches from Trollhättan up to Strömstad, which means varying and dynamic work environments.

The position is an on-call employment with very high flexibility, making it ideal for you who want to combine work with other commitments. There are good opportunities to work year-round, with a particularly increased demand during the summer season when operations are at their most intensive.

As an order guardian, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives.

You do this by being present in public places and hopefully providing a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As an order guardian, you are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority.

We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and deal well with setbacks. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in interactions with the public, but also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when necessary. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have an order guardian education and a valid order guardian permit
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Category B driver's license

• The position is an on-call employment with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.
• We use selection tests.
• We communicate primarily via email.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
