The municipalities of Töreboda and Gullspång have decided to collaborate in the environmental and building sector and are in the startup phase of creating a completely new environmental and building operation. The operation is responsible for the municipalities' work with regulatory enforcement in the environmental and building sector, including the municipalities' work with measurement, maps, and GIS. We are looking for two building permit administrators/building inspectors who will jointly be responsible for the operation's commitments within the building sector.

Job Responsibilities

As a building permit administrator/building inspector, you will primarily handle pre-decisions, notifications, building permits, and supervision according to the Planning and Building Act. The role includes providing service through guidance, advice, and information, as well as participating in the municipalities' development work. You will present cases to the Environmental and Building Committee. The positions are combined, meaning you will work through the entire building process, from building permit review to technical consultation, site visits, and final decisions, among other tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as an architect, building engineer, building permit administrator, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent, and who have work experience in the field. You have good design and building technical competence and experience within the building sector.

You have good ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing, are service- and solution-oriented with a professional and adapted approach. You take great personal responsibility and work independently as well as in a team.

The position involves a lot of contact with clients, decision-makers, and others, and it is important that you are confident in your role, have an open attitude, and a positive mindset.

A B-driver's license is required.

As a building permit administrator/building inspector within environmental and building, you can expect a salary between 36,000 - 46,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
