We are currently looking for a detention officer for the Skaraborg Police District, located in Skövde.

Job Responsibilities

As a detention officer, you work at the center of events and act based on equal treatment and the police force's core values. You are part of a team of detention officers led by a team leader. The work in the detention facility is conducted under the supervision of a station commander and in close collaboration with other operations within the local police district, such as response units and investigative activities.

As a detention officer, you handle and interact with individuals who are deprived of their liberty for various reasons. Many are detained for the purpose of investigating crimes, but it can also involve detentions due to intoxication or disturbing the public order.

The pace of work varies over time and depends on the number of people deprived of their liberty for various reasons.
