As an inspection technician, you contribute to increased traffic safety in Sweden through meticulous, safety-focused vehicle inspections and a positive customer experience.
The Station in Arendal Arendal is a heavy-duty station where we receive all types of vehicles, from motorcycles and passenger cars to heavy trucks and buses. Here you will receive broad competence development and the opportunity to certify for both light and heavy vehicles. You will enjoy an exciting workday where technical challenges meet customer contact, and you become an important part of the work to create a safe and secure traffic environment.
Your Responsibilities As an inspection technician, you will perform meticulous and safety-focused vehicle inspections, while creating a positive overall experience for our customers through clear, friendly, and trust-building communication. The role also includes selling our additional services and security packages, where you guide the customer based on their needs and interests. You contribute to a safe working environment through collaboration and responsibility, and face a varied workday filled with technical challenges and customer contact.
From Vehicle Interest to Certified Technician To succeed in the role, we offer comprehensive training that leads to you becoming a certified inspection technician for the vehicles you will work with. The training builds on an existing interest in vehicles and a basic understanding of vehicle technology, making it easier to absorb the content and get the most out of the training. During the training, you will receive support from our training organization and experienced supervisors, so that step by step you feel secure in the role before working independently.

We are looking for you who:
Have a genuine interest in vehicles and technology
Have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working according to established safety requirements
Are committed to continuously educating yourself and developing your knowledge
Are skilled at building and maintaining good customer relationships
Are comfortable with sales and see it as a natural part of the customer meeting
Thrives in a dynamic work environment and can quickly adapt to changes
Qualifications
Fluent in Swedish (reading and writing)
Good vehicle knowledge and technical competence
Category B driver's license (manual)
Category C driver's license and preferably heavy motorcycle license
Meritorious: Work experience and/or education in vehicle technology, sales, and service. Driver's licenses for more vehicle types relevant to the station are meritorious.
About the Role We offer a full-time position where the employment begins with a six-month probationary period, after which it transitions to a permanent position. Working hours are varied and scheduled across all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Work at other stations in the surrounding area will occur.
Start Date and Recruitment Process We will conduct ongoing selection. The start date is at the end of August 2026. As part of our recruitment process, we conduct a security assessment that includes criminal record checks, credit checks, business activities, and driver's license status - always with your consent.
