KMA Coordinator with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety to the Pipeline Network department

We are now looking for a KMA Coordinator with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety for the Pipeline Network department at Kretslopp och Vatten. An operation where occupational health and safety is taken seriously.

Description

The Pipeline Network department is responsible for delivering Gothenburg's drinking water and ensuring that wastewater is led away in a safe and sustainable manner. The operation covers the operation, maintenance, and development of pipeline networks, pump stations, and technical facilities throughout the city.

This is a large and dynamic operation with approximately 145 employees and 16 managers. The work takes place both in the field and in technical environments where occupational health and safety issues are a natural and important part of everyday life.

We are now strengthening our occupational health and safety work and are looking for you who want to help develop a sustainable, safe, and systematic approach together with the operations.

About the role

As a KMA Coordinator with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety, you work both strategically and operationally. You support managers and operations in systematic occupational health and safety work and help translate requirements and routines into practical working methods that work in everyday life.

You will, among other things:

• support managers in occupational health and safety issues and processes
• participate in and quality-assure risk assessments and investigations
• follow up on occupational health and safety work, self-inspections, and measures
• contribute to the development of routines, working methods, and structures within the occupational health and safety area
• work closely with operations on both operational and preventive issues
• educate, guide, and create understanding regarding occupational health and safety issues

The role involves many contact points and great variation. One day you might support a concrete occupational health and safety issue in the field, and the next day drive development work together with management and managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education of at least three years in occupational health and safety, work science, environment and health, or another area, or experience that the employer considers equivalent.

You have experience working with systematic occupational health and safety work in a technical, operational, or industrial operation and feel confident in interpreting and translating legislation into practically functioning working methods.

For the role, you are required to have:

• experience of occupational health and safety work and systematic occupational health and safety work
• ability to independently drive and follow up on occupational health and safety issues
• habit of working closely with managers and operations
• good analytical skills and a structured working method
• very good communicative skills in Swedish, both oral and written

It is meritorious if you have experience from operation, contracting, construction, or project activities.

As a person, you are secure, driving, and solution-oriented. You easily create trust and collaborate naturally with others. At the same time, you dare to challenge and push issues forward when needed.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement.

The position is security classified and requires a passed security check, which includes drug and alcohol testing, register control with the Swedish Security Service, and Swedish citizenship.
