About the Role
As an Information Security Specialist, you will work to drive and coordinate the overall information security work within RISE. Through your work, you will contribute to increasing security and safety in our operations. The position is located in Gothenburg or Borås, and domestic travel is included. RISE applies a hybrid working model where employees can divide their working time between the office and their home workplace. Here, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the company's management system for information security.
• Further developing the organization's information security strategy based on current needs and risks.
• Conducting threat and risk analyses and implementing security measures.
• Establishing, improving, and monitoring security policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as working with continuous improvements.
• Contributing to security culture and training initiatives within information security.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with information security by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and other regulations (e.g., the Cyber Security Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, security protection legislation).
• Providing qualified advice and continuously carrying out security activities to support the company's divisions and group-wide functions.

Who are you?
To succeed in the role, we see that you have the ability to independently lead work within your areas of responsibility and can develop operations through others. You are responsible, receptive, communicative, and have good collaboration skills. You are confident in presenting and lecturing and have good pedagogical skills. Additionally, you have the ability to structure your work efficiently.

Requirements

• University degree or post-secondary education in information security, IT security, risk management, or systems science.
• Several years of experience working in information and cyber security, preferably in larger organizations in both private and public sectors.
• Experience in practical information security work, such as conducting training and providing operational support to the business.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation in the field, such as the Cyber Security Act, GDPR, Security Protection Legislation, etc.
• Experience in risk management, security frameworks, and governance models.
• Very good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002.
• Ability to translate complex security issues into concrete actions.
• Experience in incident management and reporting.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security protection work.
• Knowledge and experience in civil preparedness and signal protection.
• Experience in implementing information security work and audits.
• Experience in process and project management, as well as good ability to lead workshops.
