We are looking for a playful, flexible, and engaged assistant for our cool guy!

We have a small team of assistants, but we need to expand the group with one employee and a couple of temporary replacements.

You will work where our son is located. On weekdays, you will accompany him in the taxi to school in Fruängen, where you will hang out with a group of lovely children, assistants, and educators. On weekends, you will work in our home outside Järna or join us on family outings.

This little boy has a strong interest in music, loves going to the swimming pool, and adores it when adults play around and act silly! He has cerebral palsy (CP), epilepsy, and developmental delays, and needs help with most things. An assistant is needed for eating, feeding via PEG tube (stomach tube), toilet visits, dressing, moving/transferring, hygiene, exercising, stretching, and of course, playing and having fun!

As an assistant, you will act as our son's arms and be his voice. He needs safe and reliable people around him who can help him communicate, contribute to him having a fun and good life, and feel a bit more independent.

No medical prerequisites are required to work here; for us, it is more important that you have good chemistry with our son and fit into our family. However, you should be attentive, engaged, and physically fit, as some tasks involve heavy lifting. A bonus is if you like children (there is a 9-year-old sister in the family). You need to understand and speak good Swedish and have a driver's license. Since we live in the countryside, you also need access to your own car to get here.

We are primarily looking for a part-time employee (approx. 50%) but will also need more temporary replacements. Working hours are mostly during the day on weekdays, but sometimes evenings and weekends.
