Do you want to work closely with emergency and foster homes as well as social services in an organization characterized by quality, responsibility, and development? We are now looking for a Foster Home Consultant who wants to strengthen and develop our foster care operations – with the best interests of the child at the center.

About the Role

As a Foster Home Consultant, you play a key role in the daily work with the families we collaborate with. You work in a supportive and developmental capacity, in close cooperation with the operations manager, social services, and other support functions. This role suits you if you are confident in your profession, relationship-building, and structured.

The position is at 50% with the possibility of expansion as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Guide and support emergency and foster homes based on assignments and the placed child.

• Monitor the development of our placed children in dialogue with social services.

• Contribute to quality assurance and development of foster care work.

• Participate in recruitment, investigation, matching, and introduction of foster homes.

• Work value-driven and solution-focused in daily operations.

• Contribute to the continued development and growth of the organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a social worker or has other relevant higher education qualifications.

• Has relevant education in the investigation of emergency and foster homes.

• Has experience working within foster care.

• Is confident in collaboration and dialogue with social services.

• Works in a structured, independent manner with high quality, and seeks help when needed so that we work together on solutions.
