The operations are conducted in small, local teams with access to a larger Nordic network of specialists. This creates prerequisites for close collaboration in assignments, while capacity and specialist competence are available when needed. Within itm8, there is a strong focus on knowledge sharing, delivery quality, and long-term customer relationships, where consultants often work in cross-functional teams across several competence areas.

Responsibilities

The role of Azure Consultant at itm8 involves working on customer assignments where design, architecture, and project plans are usually already in place. You will hold a key position ensuring stable, secure, and scalable solutions that meet the customers' business needs. The focus is on implementing parts of the solution in a structured and quality-assured manner. Assignments vary between migrations from on-premises to Azure, implementation of the Cloud Adoption Framework, or changes in existing Azure environments.

The role belongs to the Cloud competence area, but assignments are often carried out together with other itm8 consultants within Advisory, Security, and Development. This provides access to a broad technical context and solutions that extend beyond a single specialist area. Within Cloud, there is an Azure department with regular stand-ups and joint forums where consultants share experiences and solve technical challenges together.

Examples of tasks:

• Implement Azure solutions based on finished design and architecture
• Conduct migrations of workloads from on-premises to cloud environments
• Work with Cloud Adoption Framework, both new implementation and further development
• Participate in cloud journeys and migration projects at the customer
• Cross-functionally collaborate with other technical competence areas

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Several years of experience with infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Experience with cloud journeys and/or migration projects
• Good knowledge of Windows Server
• Experience with data centers and virtualization
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have

• AZ-900 certification
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
• Azure Virtual Desktop
