Job Responsibilities

In the role of Investigator (Utredare), you have a central function in driving and developing the municipality's work within municipal planning. You work independently and take significant responsibility for moving the work forward within the technical operations.

You are primarily responsible for handling consultations (remisser), surveys, and producing political decision-making materials. This includes analyzing, preparing, and coordinating cases, as well as ensuring high quality in the materials prior to decisions. You contribute with a holistic perspective and are an important part of developing the operations' processes and working methods.

The role involves many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, where you collaborate with other departments, authorities, and actors within the municipal development area. You participate in strategic issues and follow the development of the external environment within municipal planning, including examples such as traffic planning and local traffic regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education or university degree, for example within municipal planning, physical planning, geography, or political science.
• Good analytical skills and interest in societal issues.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Basic understanding of public administration.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in municipal operations as well as knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL) or similar regulations. Experience working with consultations, investigations, or political decision-making processes is also meritorious. Furthermore, we would appreciate if you have an interest in traffic planning and municipal development issues.
