Responsibilities
In the role of a housing support worker, the primary task is to provide individuals with mental health issues with support in their daily lives. The support is always based on the individual's needs and wishes. Our housing support workers work empathetically and motivationally to support the individual in living as independent a daily life as possible. The support is provided both in and outside the home.
The work includes documenting the intervention and creating written implementation plans, so you need to have good written communication skills. The job requires good teamwork skills and flexibility, as well as the ability to work and take responsibility both independently and in a group.
Qualifications
You have at least a high school education in healthcare and social care, or other equivalent education, e.g., assistant nurse.
Experience working with the target group is meritorious. We would also appreciate if you have knowledge of MI (Motivational Interviewing), Low-Affective Approach, and ESL (Emotional Stability).
A Class B driver's license is meritorious.
You should be secure and stable in situations that can be stressful. You should be responsible and able to structure your own work. You should have social competence, be able to collaborate with others, and take responsibility for your work environment. You should have pedagogical insight into people's different prerequisites and be able to adapt your communication style accordingly.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Experience working with the target group is meritorious.
