Spicy Hot is an Asian fast-food chain founded in Västerås in 2001. Currently, there are 11 restaurants: three in Norrköping, three in Västerås, one in Karlstad, one in Uppsala, two in Eskilstuna, and one in Löddeköpinge.

At Spicy Hot, we work with fresh ingredients prepared to order. A dish takes approximately 2 minutes to prepare and is served immediately once ready. Orders and payments are handled at the register, after which guests wait for their food. We offer around 30 different dishes on our menu, focusing on Thai and Chinese flavors. We do not serve alcohol, and all drinks are included in the price (except for takeaway orders).

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for cheerful, service-oriented, and meticulous employees who enjoy working in a team and can handle a fast-paced environment. We hire individuals who possess these character traits. Your previous professional experience is not the most critical factor, as we will train you on-site with our supervisors and workbooks in the dining area and kitchen.

You will be responsible for preparing our dishes according to our recipe book. You will assist kitchen assistants in producing all preparatory ingredients and work with kitchen routines such as hygiene checks, ingredient handling, and other preparation tasks within a small team.

Your Qualifications

You have worked as a cook and with Asian cuisine for at least 1 year.
Speaking Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Thai is considered a plus.

Employment Terms

Start Date: Immediately or by agreement.

Employment Type: Full-time or part-time with hourly wages. Salary follows the guidelines of the collective agreement in the restaurant industry. A 3-month probation period applies.
