About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the client's life, and therefore tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a man in his 20s living in Haninge. He has specific medical needs requiring competence in tube feeding, ventilator care, ceiling lift usage, and suction machine (hostmaskin) operation. He also has pets in the home. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for these tasks while building a good relationship.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Experience with tube feeding
• Experience with ventilators
• Experience with ceiling lifts
• Experience with suction machines (hostmaskin)
• Tolerance for pets
• Good physical condition for heavy lifting
• Non-smoker during working hours

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The position is a fixed-term assignment of 100% (equivalent to 40 hours/week). The assignment starts on 2026-05-25 and runs until 2026-12-31. For the right person, there are good opportunities for continued employment after the fixed-term assignment ends.

You will work according to a rolling 4-week schedule where working hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends.

• Day shift: approx. 07:00–13:00
• Evening shift: approx. 13:00–23:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start date 2026-05-25 or according to agreement.
