Do you want to take a key role in a growing group of companies where you can influence how work within quality, occupational health and safety, security, and the environment develops? Hakarps Equipment in Vaggeryd is now looking for a QHSE Specialist who can drive improvements and create structure in the operations. In this role, you will also work closely with Wermland Water Solutions and Safe Cargo – companies that are part of the same group. Together, the companies operate within manufacturing, import, sales, and logistics, and are in a strong phase of development with high activity, increasing demand, and several major projects.
The Role
As a QHSE Specialist, you will have a broad and operationally close role with responsibility for developing, implementing, and following up on work within quality, occupational health and safety, security, and the environment. You will work with an overarching perspective, focusing on creating structure and methods that work in practice. Reporting is done to the Group's Chief Strategy Officer. The work includes developing methods and processes within QHSE, further developing management systems according to ISO standards, and following up on deviations and risks. You will support the organization in systematic occupational health and quality work and be involved in customer dialogues, procurement, and issues related to requirements within quality, environment, and security. The role is based at Hakarps Equipment in Vaggeryd but also involves regular visits to Wermland Water Solutions and Safe Cargo to build understanding, establish relationships, and drive improvements forward.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have experience working within quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and/or security, and who want to take an active role in developing methods and improvements in operations. You are structured, meticulous, and have good prioritization skills, as well as natural drive, take initiative, and are willing to question methods when you see potential for improvement. The ability to build trust and get the organization on board with changes is an important part of the role.
Requirements
- Experience working within quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and/or security
- Ability to work systematically and drive improvement work
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience working with management systems and ISO standards
- Experience from industry, manufacturing, or similar operations
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
