About the role
As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be responsible for driving a project related to the implementation of new EU regulations within sustainability, with a focus on PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation). You will step into an intensive phase where much has already been initiated, but a significant responsibility lies in independently driving the work forward and creating structure and clarity for the future.

You will work closely with procurement, quality, and other internal functions, as well as interact with suppliers. The role involves a combination of analysis, administration, and requirement setting, where you translate complex legislation into concrete requirements and working methods within the business. The company is located in Lomma. The role offers a flexible work arrangement with the possibility of remote work, combined with office presence when needed. You will report to the Head of Sustainability.

In your role as Sustainability Consultant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Interpret and analyze requirements within PPWR and EUDR based on the business operations, defining what applies, when, and for which products and suppliers.
• Formulate and communicate clear requirements, both internally and externally.
• Ensure, together with procurement, that correct and relevant data is collected from suppliers.
• Validate supplier data and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Compile technical documentation and issue Declarations of Conformity (DoC) where required.
• Act as a requirement setter for IT in the development and further development of system support at the article and supplier level.
• Ensure that correct and updated data is available in internal systems.
• Be responsible for onboarding and using the Osapiens system.
• Handle and answer questions from suppliers and customers related to regulations and requirements.

This is a consultancy assignment starting immediately and running until the end of September, with the possibility of extension.

About you
We are looking for you who have experience working with quality, sustainability, or regulatory compliance in an operational role, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical industry. You have prior experience interpreting and translating regulations or standards into practical work within the business, for example within ISO, CSRD, or similar frameworks. You are accustomed to working with data and documentation and have a good understanding of the supply chain and business flows.

Furthermore, you are a self-motivated and structured person who thrives in a role where you are expected to take significant personal responsibility. You have strong analytical skills and are confident in making decisions and driving the work forward even when not all answers are available from the start. You are communicative and collaborate easily with different functions, while also daring to take initiative and create momentum in the project.

Key requirements for the role:

• Experience working with and implementing regulations or quality standards.
• Ability to independently drive projects and translate requirements into operational processes.
• Experience with data management, documentation, and working in Excel.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
