We are now looking for a graphic designer for a long-term and complex project within public transport for a public buyer in southern Sweden.

Our client has been commissioned to lead the procurement of the next generation of train vehicles in collaboration with several regions. The project is extensive and spans a longer period, with planned delivery of new vehicles in the early 2030s.

The project consists of an experienced team with high cooperation skills and a flat hierarchy work style, where the focus is on jointly finding sustainable and efficient solutions.

Scope & Location

The assignment concerns a resource within graphic design with a focus on the project, corresponding to approximately 30% occupancy until June 2028. The need may vary over time, with a higher initial need during 2026.

There is an opportunity for extension with up to 30% per year for a maximum of three years.

The role primarily requires physical presence in Skåne, with periods of increased need for presence, especially during procurement and construction phases.

Assignment Description

We are looking for a graphic designer with strong competence in creating visual material for both information and communication, especially related to tenders.

The assignment includes:

• Creating clear and informative illustrations and process visualizations
• Designing layout and graphic material according to the buyer's design guidelines
• Contributing to the production of material in several areas such as contracts, product (vehicle), services, and collaboration models

The focus is primarily on the passenger perspective, but the role involves support to several parts of the project.

The project is technically complex and requires the ability to understand advanced systems and translate them into pedagogical visualizations.

Deliverables

The work involves creating graphic material for both print and digital channels, including:

• Layout and design of documents
• Illustrations and process images
• Material for PDF, print, and digital solutions

Requirements

• Relevant education in industrial design or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in graphic design and creative work, with a focus on layout, illustrations, and visual descriptions
• Ability to translate ideas into clear visual solutions through graphics and illustration
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and produce material based on overarching or limited instructions
• Experience in visualizing and explaining complex technical systems and processes through images and illustrations
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Skåne for most of the assignment
• Very good skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Experience in idea development and teamwork, with a focus on sketching and visualization

Merits

• Experience in creating sales-oriented and communicative material
• Experience in visualization in multiple formats, such as image, illustration, sketch, and video
• Knowledge of CAD and/or VR tools
• Experience with UX/UI and interface design work
