We are looking for qualified primary school teachers (Years 4-6) in Swedish and English

International English School (IES) is currently seeking two dedicated and qualified primary school teachers with eligibility and certification in Swedish and English for teaching in Years 4-6.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and develop lessons.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Act as a mentor for students in one of the classes you teach.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.

Who are you?

• You have a teaching degree with eligibility and certification in Swedish and English for Years 4-6.
• You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching, actively working to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• You are a team player who values collaboration within your work team and thrives working with people in an international school environment.
• You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• You take initiative and have clear leadership in the classroom.
• You are clear and precise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to acquire new knowledge.
• You have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
• You are passionate about development and a collegial working approach.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and assume that you have a genuine interest in children and young people. The positions are full-time temporary assignments: one for the autumn term 2026, and one for the academic year 2026/27. Salary is negotiable, and collective agreements apply.
