Kunskapsskolan in Sweden operates primary and upper secondary schools where personalized education is at the center. Today, approximately 14,000 students attend our 36 schools across the country. We believe that every student is unique and has the potential to achieve more than they think possible if given the right support and tools.

Kunskapsskolan Uppsala is looking for a Swedish teacher (temporary position)

At Kunskapsskolan Uppsala, we create close relationships between teachers and students through our unique working method. In an environment where the student can be themselves and be challenged at their own level, we create a school where both students and staff thrive. We are a well-functioning primary school for grades 4-9 with approximately 620 students, located centrally in Uppsala with good commuting options.

About the role

As a Swedish teacher with us, you will become a key figure in the students' knowledge development.

Your main responsibilities:

• Teaching: Plan and conduct lessons and workshops in Swedish based on Kunskapsskolan's pedagogical model.

• Student Welfare: Collaborate closely with the work team and the student welfare team to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

• Assessment and Follow-up: Document and communicate student results to students and guardians.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a confident leader in the classroom and a "top-tier relationship builder." You have the ability to see each student's specific needs and can adapt your teaching accordingly. You enjoy working in a team and are attracted to a role where you have significant responsibility for shaping the student's entire school journey.

Qualifications:

• Teaching license with eligibility in Swedish for the later years of primary school.

• Good familiarity with using digital tools.

• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.

• Well-versed in Lgr-22 (the Swedish curriculum for compulsory school, preschool class, and after-school program).

• Experience with Kunskapsskolan's working method or similar individualized pedagogy is an advantage.

Employment details: The position is a one-year temporary contract (100%) starting in August 2026.
