About Us

You will be involved in the continued development work of our municipality-wide special education group, where the focus is on ensuring every student is given the conditions to succeed. You belong to the work team within Adapted Primary School, but your assignment is within the municipality-wide special education group. The work targets all primary schools in the municipality. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with the municipality's central child and student health services.

The operation is relatively new, meaning you will have good opportunities to influence and further develop methods and content. The assignment is primarily located within the special education group, but part of the position may also involve work in after-school centers.

The work team is a wonderful group that reflects together and supports each other in their work. We work together to ensure everyone enjoys working here and focus on helping students succeed. Your closest colleagues will consist of a teacher and a student assistant, where you together manage the Municipality-wide Special Education Group operation.

The operation is conducted in premises adjacent to Heby School, with proximity to nature and the municipality's sports facility with a swimming pool. There are good commuting options to Heby by both bus and train.

Is this you?

You, just like us, collaborate for the benefit of the students. You thrive in the role of a support function, reading situations and taking initiative when needed. You constantly work on the relational aspect and strive to ensure every student succeeds.

We want you to:

• Be a trained childcare worker or have other relevant education.
• Have several years of experience working with special education groups or students in need of special support.
• Value values-based work and be able to build strong relationships.
• Have good collaboration skills and be able to motivate and strengthen individuals.
• Have knowledge of different human functional variations.
• Communicate fluently in written and spoken Swedish.
• Hold a Category B driver's license, as the position involves travel to schools within the municipality.

We see that you focus on collaboration and have a solution-oriented approach. Education as a social pedagogue, resource pedagogue, or behavioral scientist is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A probationary period may be applied.

If you are considered for the position, you will need to show an extract from the police's criminal record register before employment. Interviews for the position will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
