🌱 Do you want to work with qualified risk assessments that shape the future of sustainable land use?
At Liljemark Consulting, we are looking for an experienced risk assessment specialist to join our teams in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
In this role, you will have a key position in some of Sweden's most complex projects concerning contaminated sites – from early stages to remediation investigations and risk valuation. We work closely with our clients and provide expert knowledge where it truly makes a difference.
You will become part of an engaged team where we combine technical excellence, strategic thinking, and a strong focus on feasibility.
About the role
In this role, you work as a specialist in risk assessment and provide support both in projects and internally within the organization. You drive and develop methodology, quality, and approaches in our projects.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and reviewing preliminary and detailed risk assessments
Evaluating dispersion, exposure, and risks to humans and the environment
Participating in and leading remediation investigations and risk valuations
Providing technical support in complex projects, e.g., in-situ remediation or master studies
Contributing to methodology development and quality assurance within risk assessment
Engaging in dialogue with clients, authorities, and colleagues regarding risk issues
Working on the most analytical and strategic parts of projects – where conclusions have a significant impact on decisions and actions.
Who are you?
We believe you:
Have approximately 8–12 years of experience working with contaminated sites
Have solid experience in developing risk assessments
Are accustomed to working with site-specific reference values and advanced assessments
Have experience with remediation investigations and risk valuation
Have worked in complex projects, preferably linked to development or larger areas
Are analytical and confident in drawing conclusions from large datasets
Thrive in a role where you act as an expert and guide others
Are comfortable using Swedish and English in both speech and writing
It is an advantage if you have experience with, for example, PFAS, chlorinated solvents, dispersion modeling, or work in larger complex pre-remediation projects or urban development projects.
As a person, you are curious, structured, and quality-conscious. You are driven by understanding complex relationships and translating them into clear and actionable conclusions.
Why Liljemark Consulting?
With us, you get:
The opportunity to work with some of Sweden's most complex risk assessment challenges
A clear specialist role with significant influence on projects
Opportunities to develop methodology and working methods
Flexibility and balance in working life
Colleagues with high competence who support each other
Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
We are growing – and we hope you want to be part of developing our expertise in risk assessment.
Open to all
We focus on your competence, not your other prerequisites. We are open to adapting the role or workplace to your needs.
