We are looking for an HSEQ Coordinator for a state-owned entity within energy production and district heating.

This is a consultancy assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of HSEQ Coordinator involves supporting the HSSEQ Manager and the project organization by ensuring structured, systematic, and proactive work within health, safety, environment, and quality during the project's planning and execution phases. The role focuses particularly on audits, inspections, compliance, and implementation, and contributes to strengthening operational HSEQ work on-site, without formal coordination responsibility according to Swedish occupational health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and structure documentation in Project Place and ACONEX with a focus on traceability
• Monitor HSSEQ KPIs, Control Tower, and produce HSSEQ reports
• Identify deviations, trends, and high-risk activities and report to the HSSEQ Manager
• Support BAS-U and BAS-P in the development and follow-up of occupational health and safety routines and systems according to legal and project requirements
• Ensure routines for incident management, risk assessments, work preparations, and method descriptions
• Plan, document, and follow up on safety rounds, safety inspections, and occupational health follow-ups
• Monitor HSE events in ACONEX and ensure closure of risk observations, near misses, and accidents
• Coordinate HSE training for project members, contractors, and suppliers
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on internal HSEQ audits and inspections
• Develop and maintain audit programs within occupational health, quality, and environment in collaboration with QA/QC and Environmental Specialists
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, routines, and working methods
• Coordinate and follow up on ITPs, control plans, NCRs, deviations, and improvement measures
• Collaborate with Environmental Specialists to ensure implementation and follow-up of environmental requirements, environmental routines, and environmental audits

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• At least 7–10 years of experience in HSEQ, quality, or occupational health follow-up in large construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Strong analytical skills and experience with audits and follow-up
• Structured working method and good administrative skills
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with many different stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and drive issues forward
• Good understanding of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
• Experience of occupational health work within construction and industrial projects
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit methodology
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
