At Liljemark Consulting, we are looking for an experienced environmental consultant with a focus on in-situ remediation to join our team in Gothenburg or Stockholm.

In this role, you will have a key position in the execution of site remediation projects – from planning to field implementation. We work with complex contamination situations where the right measure in the right place is crucial, and where in-situ solutions are becoming an increasingly important part of the toolbox.

You will become part of an engaged team where we combine technical expertise with practical execution capability.

About the role

In this role, you work close to the field and are responsible for the execution of in-situ measures. You help translate theory and design into functional solutions on-site.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and coordinating fieldwork (site supervision)
• Planning and monitoring in-situ measures
• Collaborating with contractors, drilling companies, and technical specialists
• Ensuring quality, progress, and working environment during execution
• Participating in method selection and development of in-situ solutions
• Engaging in dialogue with clients and colleagues regarding practical solutions

The role is practical and hands-on – here, you are not afraid to be out in the field and get your hands dirty when needed.

Who are you?

We believe you:

• Have approximately 8 years of experience working with contaminated sites
• Have solid experience in fieldwork and implementation
• Have worked with or are curious about in-situ measures
• Have experience in site supervision or are ready to take that step
• Have experience with BAS P/ BAS U (Construction Safety Officer)
• Are solution-oriented and enjoy making things work in practice
• Are humble and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Are comfortable using Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Hold a valid driver’s license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have experience with contracting work, remediation projects, or technologies such as injection, biological, or chemical in-situ methods.

As a person, you are curious and driven by solving problems where theory meets reality. You like taking responsibility in the field and being the one who ensures things actually get done. Business travel may occur.
