We have been entrusted with starting a brand new personal assistance assignment for a lovely young man living on a farm outside Strömstad. He lives there with his family and many different animals, so we are looking for someone without a fur allergy.

We are looking for you who want to help shape adventurous days with our customer! He is a cheerful 28-year-old with autism. We are seeking safe, responsible, and positive assistants who see opportunities. Since resources have previously been lacking to help him be active and have a varied daily life, we need someone willing to help build new routines. This is an opportunity to create a fun and, above all, exciting job as a personal assistant.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

You need to be calm, secure, sensitive, and engaged as a person. We believe the best fit for the customer are stable, reliable individuals who are close to laughter and have the ability to see the positive side. Support is needed in hygiene, cooking, and activities, as well as constant supervision.

You guide and motivate when needed, while understanding when to step back. The tasks include most things done in daily life, and we do it together! You are helpful and a support in everything the customer does. No heavy lifting is involved.

Experience from similar work is an advantage. We prefer male applicants, but it is not a requirement. It is important that you fit into the family situation, and most importantly, that you and our customer get along, have good chemistry, and have fun together! It is a bonus if you enjoy art, music, and media.

You will receive individualized introduction and access to our training program.

Desirable Experiences

• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Communicative English, as one parent understands very little Swedish.
• Experience in similar work.
• Category B driver's license.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• Hourly basis – extra hours as needed or during the regular assistant's sick leave.
• Summer vacation cover during the summer months to cover for the regular assistant's holiday.
• Work shifts are scheduled both on weekdays and weekends.

About Salary

• Salary according to Fremia Collective Agreement.
