We are now looking for a personal assistant on an as-needed basis for a woman in Stockholm, Sundbyberg. We are looking for you who are highly committed to working with people with disabilities.

Our client needs help with most aspects of daily life, such as nursing care and personal hygiene, as well as assistance with mobility during all activities in and outside the home. The client has limited verbal communication skills, which requires patience and allowing the client the time needed to express themselves. A ceiling lift is available in the home.

As an assistant, you are the client's extended arm in daily life.

Working hours:

• 12:30–07:45 (including waiting time at night)
• 07:15–13:10 (daytime)

The position may involve evening work, weekends, and weekdays.

Requirements and experience:

We are only accepting female applicants for this position. Experience in nursing care is preferred. The client moves around in the home using a wheelchair. You must have fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing.

Your responsibilities:

• Individualized nursing care
• Household chores
• Supportive and motivating work

The assistance is primarily provided in the client's home but also during outdoor activities. Training is provided on-site by family members and through Monument Assistans.

A family member of the client is involved in the selection process and will have access to the applications. Monument Assistans always requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) before employment.
