As a teacher at Mellansjö School, you work in a resource school context, where teaching takes place in small groups or individually, often with high staff density. Our students have conditions such as autism, ADHD, and/or severe school anxiety, which means the teaching needs to be clearly structured, individualized, and flexible.

Here, the relationship with the student is a prerequisite for learning. You work in a low-arousal (calm) manner, predictably, with a strong focus on safety, motivation, and trust.

The role involves:

• planning, implementing, and following up on Swedish language instruction based on each student's prerequisites
• adapting teaching to daily conditions, attendance, and needs
• working closely with student assistants, student health services, and school leadership
• closely collaborating with guardians and other actors around the student
• contributing to the school's continued development together with colleagues

Mellansjö School is a resource school for grades 1–9 located in Täby Kyrkby, close to nature by Vallentunasjön. The school has approximately 80 students, distributed across 8 classes/groups, and a staff of over 30 employees who collaborate closely.

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Spanish, preferably with experience or education in special education.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)
• knowledge of low-arousal approaches
• experience in resource schools or working with problematic school absenteeism
