Do you want a meaningful and varied job where you make a real difference in another person's life? We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a man with Becker's muscular dystrophy living in Mårdaklev.

About the assignment

The client is an adult man who can communicate independently and is involved in his daily life, but needs support in several practical tasks. The work includes among other things:

• Assistance with transfers using aids
• Support with personal hygiene
• Practical help in and around the home
• Assisting with activities on the farmyard
• Assistant and taking care of the client's sheep

The workplace is a farmyard environment where there is always something to get involved in. We are therefore looking for you who thrives in an active job and enjoys being outdoors when the opportunity arises. It is a great advantage if you are handy and familiar with farm life.

Who we are looking for

Experience in personal assistance or care is meritorious but not a requirement – the right attitude and personal chemistry are decisive.

Working hours

The position is a part-time role of approximately 1–2 shifts per week. The work shifts are scheduled as follows:

• Day/evening: 10:30–22:45 (sometimes split shift 16:00–22:45)
• Night/day: 22:30–15:10 (including 4.5 hours of on-call duty at night)

There is full-time work available this summer, and there is always the possibility of extra shifts in case of other assistants' absence, etc.
