We are now looking for a personal assistant who will play an important role and become a significant person in our client Nadia's daily life. She lives alternately every other week with her parents and her twin sister.

Nadia communicates through words, picture support, and TAKK signs. Nadia is a playful and determined girl who knows what she wants; she has a great sense of humor and is loving towards those around her. She particularly enjoys being outdoors, using her wheelchair, swimming, and playing with balls.

You will work on an hourly basis as needed when Nadia is with her father, where you will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects regarding Nadia's care needs.

The daily work consists of helping with what Nadia cannot do herself. She needs assistance with food and drink during meals and with personal hygiene. Active and constant supervision due to Epilepsy and mobility impairments are part of the job duties. Nadia also needs help with activation through play and exercise. Nadia trains her body every day. This is partly for preventive purposes to maintain her current functions, but also to help her develop.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

As a person, you need to be playful, meticulous, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. It is a plus if you have experience from healthcare or have worked with children before. However, the most important thing is that the personal chemistry is right – that you two find a connection and that you are willing to learn everything about Nadia and her needs.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours at times, as we in the workgroup cover staffing if someone gets sick or goes on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Desirable Experience

• Enjoy working with children.
• Playful and proactive.
• Fluent in Swedish.

Working Hours/Employment Percentage

• Hourly basis – extra hours as needed when the regular assistant is on sick leave or vacation.
• Working hours are scheduled for weekends.
• Start immediately.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to Fremia Collective Agreement.
