The group home at Kvisslingbyvägen in Åkersberga was established in August 2019. The group home is located in a quiet, leafy area close to nature. Residents include individuals with disabilities such as autism and developmental disabilities. There is a strong sense of team spirit and much positivity in the operations. We see opportunities instead of obstacles!
About the Role of Support PedagogueIn the role of support pedagogue, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both in the home and during leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that residents have the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you must be able to address each person's individual needs and conduct pedagogical work based on this. Since needs vary among users, no two days are the same, contributing to a challenging and exciting job.
You will work closely with the users together with your colleagues and have significant responsibility for driving and developing the pedagogical work in the operation, in consultation with the operations manager. Some delegated health and care tasks are included in the work.
QualificationsYou are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

Requirements:
- Graduation from the support pedagogue education (200 YH credits) or 60 HP in pedagogy.
- Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults, person group 1.
- Basic knowledge of household work such as nutrition and hygiene.
- Computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Merits if you additionally have:
- Experience in leadership.
- Experience working with people with autism and challenging behavior.
- Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral problems.
- Experience with clarifying communication and low-affective approach.

Employment TermsEmployment Type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probation period. Full-time equivalent: Full-time. Working Hours: Rotating schedule, days, evenings, and weekends. Start Date: By agreement, we are positive if you can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements to Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
