Villa Roos Park in Staffanstorp is now looking for a Care Assistant for a 95% night shift position. We offer training and several benefits.
What you get with us:
- Training that makes your work easier, for example in care hygiene, dementia care and interaction, and ergonomics.
- A benefits portal with discounts and offers. For example, you can buy bus tickets and public transport travel at good prices.
- A coaching and supportive manager who works together with you in your daily routine.
- Clear working methods and routines that simplify your job.
- Career and development opportunities. For example, you can become a group leader with personnel responsibility or take on a specific subject responsibility such as dementia coordinator or hygiene officer.
About Villa Roos Park
- We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and interaction through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.
- We apply a needs-based preference schedule. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We create schedules for 10 weeks at a time.
- We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to add extra value to the lives of our residents.
- You have a group leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nurse assistant.
- Here we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.
- We work constantly to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that makes it possible to experience different trips, adventures, or games via VR glasses. Read more about Vardaga's VR initiative here: Around the World in 40 Minutes.
As a Care Assistant, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their way of life and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.
"It is primarily about meetings with people, being able to adapt and read what people need. You get colleagues and learn a lot about collaboration! Many funny things, activities, and excursions often happen. It is a job with lots of laughter." – Jirapinya Muangsiri
You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, nurse assistant, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.
Your experience and knowledge
We would like you to have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
We believe that you:
- are attracted to varied work and enjoy meeting people in different situations.
- are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility.
- enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
