Do you want to contribute to good matches with the child and the heart in the right place? Then this could be the role for you!

Hemnovia works with foster care and open care, where we are now strengthening our team with an engaged and driven placement coordinator. In this role, you become the hub that creates structure and efficiency throughout the placement process. You ensure that we provide care for children and young people with high quality and good results.

The role involves actively receiving, assessing, and handling placement requests, as well as translating these into well-functioning matches. You work closely with both foster homes and commissioning bodies, playing a key role in finding solutions that work both in the short and long term.

You have a strong focus on results and thrive in a role where you are expected to take initiative, be persistent in your dialogues, and actively drive processes forward. You are confident in making contact, following up, and bringing cases to completion, while naturally building trust and maintaining pace and direction in your work.

Your contribution leads to better matches, higher quality, and frees up time for foster care consultants. You will receive thorough induction and support for your professional development, working closely with foster care consultants and the operations manager. Here, you become part of a competent team where community, development, and quality are at the center.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and streamlining recruitment and placement processes.
  • Ensuring that the match between children/young people and foster homes is as good as possible.
  • Driving placement processes forward and actively working to ensure good matches are implemented.
  • Maintaining ongoing contact with foster homes and following up on foster home recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborating with commissioning bodies and contributing to trusting and professional dialogues.
  • Marketing and evaluation to continuously improve our working methods.

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Experience in social work and good knowledge of children's needs and conditions.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.
  • A structured and goal-oriented work methodology.
  • Ability to drive work forward and translate needs into concrete solutions.
  • Confidence in making decisions and conducting professional assessments.
  • Ability to work at a sometimes fast pace while maintaining quality.

Are you the one we are looking for? Submit your application today!

Interviews are held on an ongoing basis at our new office at Odinslundsgatan 25 in Örgryte.
