At our Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine department, we perform various physiological examinations such as ultrasound of the heart and blood vessels, exercise and rest ECGs, as well as long-term ECG monitoring. We also perform lung function tests and pressure measurements of various kinds. Furthermore, we conduct some special examinations such as TILT tests and non-invasive electrophysiological examinations (NIE).
On our nuclear medicine department, we perform myocardial and skeletal scintigraphy, lung scintigraphy, and thyroid scintigraphy, among other things. All these examinations create opportunities and make our work varied and exciting. The unit is staffed with trained medical secretaries, biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, and doctors.
Our operations run Monday to Friday during daytime hours. We have a good community spirit and work together to create and maintain an open and positive work climate. We currently have an employee who will be on parental leave, creating an opportunity to try working with us!

Job Responsibilities
We are now welcoming a biomedical analyst for a parental leave substitute position to our unit. As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work both patient-facing and technically. You will build and maintain competence in several different examinations and methods. This means we can offer a workplace with variety and good opportunities for development, including participation in method development and competence transfer within the unit.
As a biomedical analyst, you are responsible for providing the patient with safe diagnostics together with doctors, as we work together in teams. At our department, you often meet patients under investigation where you, with your competence, have great opportunities to make a difference for the patient. Our goal is always to perform good examinations while ensuring the patient feels safe. When the patient leaves Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, they should be satisfied with having been treated professionally.
When you start with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your experience so that you can smoothly integrate into the operations.
The substitute position is available as soon as possible after agreement and lasts until 2027-08-31.
Qualifications

Regarding formal requirements, we are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Your Swedish language skills are at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Previous experience with physiological examinations is meritorious.
