Furuhemmet HVB is a small, family-like residential home centrally located in Partille. We have 8 places distributed across two properties, catering to children and young people aged 9 to 13 with varying challenges.

We are currently seeking experienced treatment pedagogues or social pedagogues for summer temporary positions. As a person, you should be passionate about a low-arousal approach and a structured working method, combined with plenty of activities and cozy time with the children. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop with the support of experienced managers, full treatment responsibility, supervision, and competence development.

The operation works based on TMO (trauma-informed care). The children may have experienced violence, crises, and neglect. They may also display acting-out behavior in interactions with others and/or have neuropsychiatric disabilities. The children's issues are extensive and require professional support that cannot be provided at home or in a foster home.

Our goal is for the child to receive support in developing new skills and strategies to make their daily life understandable, manageable, and meaningful. The child should also be prepared for the next step, which could be returning to the original family or placement in a foster home. A significant part of the work as a temporary staff member at Furuhemmet is network work and collaboration with the family, social services, school, and healthcare.

As a therapist at Furuhemmet, you are part of creating a safe and predictable environment for the children. This requires you to be a secure and unpretentious person with the child's long-term positive development as the focus. We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people and the competence to adapt your approach and treatment work based on the child's needs and abilities.

The work includes documentation and medication management.

Working hours include days, evenings, weekends, and on-call sleeping shifts.

You will need to submit a certificate of good conduct (extract from the crime register) without remarks before employment can begin.

Start date is by agreement.

A valid driver's license is required.

Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
