Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Law on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You uphold the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Want to work for a 48-year-old man residing in Österbybruk
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Have a driver's license (automatic transmission is sufficient) to drive the client's adapted car
• Are comfortable around pets (cats)

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Share the client's interest in sports and engines. Otherwise, the work takes place at home and in the immediate vicinity

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, extent of employment, and salary:

The current form of employment is "hourly employment" with an extent of employment between 17-58%. Working hours vary between weekdays (days and evenings) and weekends (07:00-15:00, 10:00-15:00, 15:00-21:00). Day shifts are covered with double assistance. There is also the possibility of a more fixed schedule.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
