Bevego is one of Sweden's leading wholesale companies within construction sheet metal, ventilation, and technical insulation. We are now looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager for our office in Alingsås. The role also offers the possibility, if it suits you and the business, to work from our branch in Bäckebol when needed. The position is a permanent employment starting with a probationary period. Start date is by agreement.

What will you do?

In this role, you take a holistic approach to salary, compensation, and benefits, and further develop our ways of working so that they function smoothly in everyday life. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure that our compensation programs are fair, competitive, and sustainable.

You also own the relationship with our payroll administration and ensure frictionless collaboration where quality, efficiency, and professional support are always at the center. You work closely with our HR Manager (whom you report to) and HR Business Partner in a tight, engaged team that together develops our processes and strengthens the employee experience throughout the entire employment journey. We collaborate without hierarchy and support each other across responsibility boundaries to ensure the business gets the HR support it needs – when it is needed – we do it together!

You will:

  • Be responsible for developing our principles for salary, benefits, and compensations – including pensions, insurance, car policy, and other parts of our total rewards strategy
  • Ensure well-functioning collaboration and quality in the payroll process
  • Be responsible for compensation-related routines, corporate cards, and expense systems, as well as handle agreements, vendor contacts, and administration regarding benefits and our car fleet
  • Ensure that we follow laws and agreements and work closely with our external partners for good data quality, smooth deliveries, and a functioning collaboration
  • Develop and adhere to our salary and role structures, and conduct salary mapping, analyses, and our annual salary review processes
  • Communicate, provide support & training to our managers and employees
  • Be part of an HR function that is close to the business and helps employees, managers, and the organization develop

Your engagement and curiosity mean more than any experience on your CV.

Experiences you have that are meritorious:

  • Have a few years of experience working within salary, benefits, and compensations
  • Have worked with payroll or have good knowledge of how payroll processes work
  • Are used to working from A to Z & driving projects from start to finish within salary, benefits, and compensations
  • Have solid knowledge of pensions, insurance, and other statutory benefits
  • Knowledge within labor law, collective agreements, and regulations related to salary transparency, pensions, and benefits

Properties you have that we appreciate:

  • Analytical and solution-oriented
  • Good system familiarity and are confident in being able to translate and specify the business's needs for improvements in both working methods and systems
  • Experience working in various HR systems, and preferably Agda, Skovik, Catalyst One (C1), Ziklo, Pihr
  • Ability to communicate complex content in an understandable way.
  • Structured and self-starting, with good order and quality focus
  • Non-hierarchical and open to developing in other areas within HR
