Job Responsibilities

As an employee, you will work as a support assistant, providing support in individuals' homes and daily lives. This includes helping with personal hygiene such as showering, toilet visits, and dressing/undressing. Other tasks include assisting with household chores like cooking, cleaning, laundry, and participating in leisure activities.

The goal of our staff is to contribute together to strengthening the care recipient's opportunities to actively participate in society, live and reside in safe conditions, and create a meaningful daily life. Daily activities are guided by the individual's specific needs, conditions, and wishes.

Working within the social services means performing interventions according to the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) and the Social Services Act, as well as care and support measures. You may also perform health care tasks by delegation if required.

You will receive a good introduction with shadowing to create a sense of security when performing your duties with us this summer. If the role requires medication management, you will be called in for training.

Working hours are varied and scheduled. You can work days, evenings, and weekends. We also have night shifts, and some workplaces have on-call duties. Exact times vary depending on where you work.

We are hiring continuously during spring and early summer and offer varying levels of employment.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.

Merits:

• Category B driver's license.
• Qualified vocational education (KY) in the field of disability support.
• Leisure leader education.
• Nursing program.
• Child and youth program.
• Education focused on social psychiatry or other education deemed equivalent.
• Work experience with various disabilities (physical, mental, or intellectual) and knowledge of autism spectrum conditions.
