About the position
Academic Work is currently looking for a part-time receptionist for a summer assignment with our client in Kristianstad. In this role, you are often the first person visitors meet and play an important part in creating a professional and welcoming impression.
The assignment is a consultancy assignment via Academic Work, which means that you will be employed by us and work at our client's premises. During the period June–August, working hours are 12:00–16:00, with good opportunities for the assignment to continue as a part-time job even after the summer.
To be considered for the position, you must be a student or have another main occupation of at least 50%.

Responsibilities
In your role, you will be responsible for internal service and support the business with various administrative tasks. The tasks include, among other things, receiving and forwarding telephone calls, handling incoming email, and sorting and handling mail.
- Receive and welcome visitors in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Handle and forward incoming telephone calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing email
- Sort and handle mail and deliveries
- Perform simple administrative tasks
- Support the business and contribute to a well-functioning reception and internal service
- Be flexible and able to step in where needed
We are looking for someone who
- Is a student or has another occupation of at least 50% (at least 1 year remaining of studies/occupation)
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
- Has experience in service work, preferably in customer service or as a receptionist
- Is comfortable working with telephone and computer in a work environment
- Has good computer skills
It is an advantage if you have
- Previous experience working in a reception
