Our home care service in Åkersberga is growing rapidly, and therefore we are now looking for you who want to join and strengthen the team in everyday life. This is a role for you who thrive close to the customers, feel confident in care work, and want to take a clear step forward in responsibility and leadership.
At Aleo Omsorg, you as a team leader have a central role where you combine practical work within home care with leadership and administrative tasks. You lead and coordinate a team of approximately 8–12 employees, are a daily support for the staff, and a crucial relief for the unit manager. Together, you work for high quality, good working environment, and satisfied customers.
Job Responsibilities - What will you do?
Your responsibilities as a team leader include, among other things:
- Work leadership & support in daily life – be a secure, present contact for the employees and support them in their daily work.
- Practical care work – work out at the customers' homes and be a role model in attitude, quality, and professionalism.
- Planning & start-ups – participate in the start-up of new services and ensure that customers' needs are met in a secure manner.
- Documentation & administration – handle ongoing documentation and simpler follow-ups in close collaboration with the unit manager.
- Quality & working environment – contribute to structure, routines, and a good work climate.
- Team culture & cohesion – build trust, cooperation, and joy in work within the team.
- Security alarms – handle both planned and urgent interventions within the framework of the assignment in Österåker Municipality (07:00 - 22:30).
Who are you?
For this role, we see that you have the following qualities and qualifications:
- Care and nursing experience – you have worked within care and nursing, preferably home care.
- Nurse Assistant (requirement) – preferably with a protected professional title.
- Natural leader in daily life – you have experience of coordinating, supporting, or leading others, formally or informally.
- Egoless and supportive – you help where needed and create security around you.
- Stress-resistant and solution-oriented – you keep your calm even when the pace is high.
- Communicative and present – confident in contact with colleagues, customers, and relatives.
- Digitally savvy – comfortable with documentation and work in digital systems.
- Category B driver's license (requirement) – You are an experienced driver and can navigate well in traffic to visit our customers in their homes.
- Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both in speech and writing and have the ability to document in a professional manner.
Working hours and employment type
Employment: Monday–Friday and every third weekend based on operational needs (incl. public holidays). Working hours: daytime 07:00 - 15:30. Scope: full-time, 37 h/week. Workplace: Åkersberga. Employment type: permanent with a 6-month probation period, with start date as agreed.
