About the Role

As a Senior Software Developer at Organic Response, you will be part of the Portal team and play a key role in designing, building, and further developing the company's web portal and related IoT solutions. The role is technically broad and involves significant ownership, where you combine backend development with work on cloud infrastructure, contributing to the creation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

The team works agilely, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to driving development forward. You are also expected to contribute to technical decision-making, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

More specifically, the role includes among other things:

• Full-stack development with a focus on backend, APIs, and integrations
• Design, development, and further development of portal and IoT functionality
• Contributing to architecture, scalability, and system performance
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, operations, and DevOps teams

Qualifications

We believe you have a university degree in computer science or equivalent, along with at least five years of professional experience in software development. To succeed in the role, you have a strong technical foundation, are accustomed to working with modern development methods, and thrive in an environment where you both take responsibility and support others in the team.

You have experience or knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Java
• Spring Boot or Spring Cloud
• Microservices
• PostgreSQL or other databases such as time-series (interest in this area is a plus)
• Cloud-based software architecture, preferably within AWS
• Mentoring and supporting junior developers

Additional desirable experience includes:

• Work with generative AI in development
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Frontend or full-stack development, e.g., Angular
• Docker/Kubernetes/Kafka/MQTT
