About the role

At the facility in Häradsudden, Ragn-Sells works with sorting and handling of various types of waste and materials to enable recycling and resource efficiency. As an environmental worker, you become an important part of the daily operations with a focus on safe and efficient material handling. You will work with both excavators and wheel loaders in a dynamic environment where the pace is occasionally high. To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate taking personal responsibility, working independently, and having the ability to assess workload to prioritize correctly.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Sort materials using an excavator/material handler based on size and material type (e.g., wood, plastic, and metal).
• Operate a wheel loader with a focus on internal transport, loading, unloading, and dispatch.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to current safety and quality requirements.
• Actively contribute to systematic improvement work by identifying risks, incidents, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use digital tools, apps, and business systems in daily work.

We are looking for you who

• Have professional certificates and training credentials for wheel loaders and excavators, or alternatively a C2 forklift license for construction sites.
• Have at least two years of experience operating wheel loaders.
• Are confident with the machinery and have a good understanding of its capacity and limitations.
• Are responsible, safety-conscious, and accustomed to working independently.
• Thrive in an environment where things happen quickly and where you are expected to take initiative.
• Have basic IT skills and feel comfortable using mobile phones, apps, and business systems at work.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in waste management or similar operations.
